Washington, D.C. offers residents benefits that can be found in no other city. Not only is D.C. the seat of our national government, it is a city filled with famous sights, monuments and museums, and the performing arts. It is a city that has an endless calendar of events and fantastic sports teams of all kinds.

Beyond Washington's most familiar vistas, the capital city unwinds into a lively urban center. Casual cafes and upscale bistros line the trendy streets of Georgetown, while the downtown district sizzles with a host of new restaurants and spontaneous Jazz notes tumble out the windows of U Street's nightclubs. With all of this to select from, it is no wonder that choosing where to live can prove to be a difficult task.

Most neighborhoods are filled with hip boutiques and galleries, historic homes and small museums, urban parks and spectacular gardens. They are neighborhoods that are ideal for walking and almost all are accessible by Metrorail or Metrobus. But, whether you enjoy a college town feel, suburbia, or prefer a funky and free-wheeling village, Washington, D.C. has something for everyone.
