total annual job growth rate is 6.3 percent, placing St. Louis 5th in the race
for jobs in a comparison with 33 competitor metropolitan areas. St. Louis tied
with Dallas and was ahead of San Antonio, Denver, Nashville, Chicago, San Francisco,
Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Oklahoma City.
