Public Finance
Our attorneys represent financial services clients in
transactions involving state and local governmental entities. These include
transactions in which the governmental entity can be both a borrower as well
as a vehicle for economic incentives for a corporate or real estate borrower.
Our work in this area includes:
- Representing banks, investment banks, brokerage
houses, trust companies, corporations, developers and nonprofit entities
in such transactions.
- Serving as bond, underwriters and development
counsel.
- Serving as counsel to credit enhancers, such a
financial institutions providing a letters of credit.
- Providing advice and counsel on development incentives, tax credits and
other financing programs, either on behalf of a client or in relation to collateral
for lending transactions.
