Thompson Coburn’s public Web site, which you are currently visiting, was recently recognized as one of the best in the legal industry. The site was named to the “Nifty 50” for 2006 by the Internet Marketing Attorney, a well-recognized organization that evaluates the online marketing efforts of law firms around the world.

Introduced in January 2001, the “Nifty 50” honors legal Web sites that go beyond the basics by adding innovative features and content. Competition for places on the list is intense. Since the “Nifty 50” list was introduced, the Internet Marketing Attorney has received more than 1,000 nominations from around the globe. This marks the Thompson Coburn’s second appearance on the annual list.

Thompson Coburn’s site was redesigned in 2005, adding numerous new features, including a revamped recruiting section and the addition of regularly updated news on the front page. The site’s overall ranking in this year’s evaluation by the Internet Marketing Attorney was the highest among Missouri-headquartered law firms, and only two major Washington, D.C. competitors placed higher.
