St. Louis, MO, October 13, 2006 - Thompson Coburn LLP is pleased to announce that Cheryl A. Kelly, a partner in the Firm’s Business Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights Practice Group and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Finance Practice Subgroup, was recently elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Ms. Kelly has substantial experience representing lenders and borrowers in real estate finance transactions. She has particular expertise in representing real estate lenders in complex commercial real estate finance transactions, loan restructurings and workouts (whether in or out of bankruptcy), and in receivership and foreclosure proceedings.

Organized in 1978, College membership is by invitation only and consists of approximately 900 members. It is limited to persons who have established expertise in real estate law, who observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, who have contributed substantially to improvement of real estate law and practice and who have a minimum of 10 years experience in real estate law.
