St. Louis, MO, October 16, 2006 - Thompson Coburn LLP is pleased to announce that Deborah K. Rush, a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice, with a specialty in Public Finance and Public Law, was elected to the firm’s Management Committee. She joins other Management Committee members: Thomas J. Minogue (Chair), John R. Musgrave (Vice-Chair), Warren L. Dean, Jr., Richard E. Haferkamp, Stephen B. Higgins, Thomas A. Litz, Michael F. Lause, Kenneth E. Luther, Raymond L. Massey, Michael B. Minton, Linda L. Shapiro, and Roman P. Wuller.

Ms. Rush concentrates her practice in the area of public finance. Her practice includes structuring financing for a wide range of projects, including stadium and convention, education, manufacturing facilities, health care, and civic and charitable organizations. She also represents clients in transactions, tax increment financing, tax abatement, transportation, community improvement, and other special taxing districts, job training and state and federal tax credits.

She earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, her M.B.A. from Saint Louis University, and her B.S. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
