Robert Shapiro Commended by U.S. Customs

The Executive Director of the Cargo Systems Program Office of U.S. Customs and Border Protection commended Robert Shapiro, a partner in the firm’s D.C. office, for his contributions to its Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) program. In a thank-you note addressed to Tom Minogue, Executive Director Louis Samenfink recognized Robert’s outstanding contributions in support of ACE. Robert has acted in the capacity of ACE Trade "Ambassador" since 2004, and has been instrumental in the CSPO’s effort to successfully deploy the ACE program.

Under the ACE program, representatives from the trade community work alongside CBP to establish automated systems requirements, design, testing and implementation.

Mr. Samenfink offered his sincere thanks for TC and Robert’s "continued commitment and dedication and for taking the time to support and promote the ACE initiative."
