Legal Updates on New Federal Laws Regarding Pregnant and/or Nursing Workers: Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and PUMP Act

Webinar

Congress recently enacted two laws regarding pregnant and/or nursing workers—the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act (PUMP Act). The PWFA amends the existing Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and adds reasonable accommodation requirements similar to the Americans with Disabilities Act. The PUMP Act amends the Fair Labor Standards Act and expands workplace protections for employees who are nursing. Please join us for a 60-minute webinar to learn about the worker protections provided by these laws and what employers need to know to comply with each.
