David Straus Honored by Association of Alternate Postal Systems
April 30, 2010
David Straus, partner in the Washington, D.C. office, was recognized by the Association of Alternate Postal Systems (AAPS) with a lifetime achievement award. AAPS awarded him this honor during its 36th Annual AAPS Conference.
David has represented the association since 1978. He has a reputation for his strong knowledge of the postal system and the laws by which it is governed. He stays abreast of the latest postal-related developments and is able to explain them to his clients. David provides well-thought-out strategies for handling all postal system changes.
AAPS is an association of advertising distribution service companies. It was founded in 1973 by a group of individuals that determined there was a need for private distribution companies to intervene during postal rate cases and postal reform bills in Congress that could potentially harm private enterprise operations competing against the government controlled post office. AAPS members represent 36 states and Canada.
