TC Ranks High in Client Service Survey

December 10, 2010

Thompson Coburn finished in the top 10 percent of BTI Consulting Group’s Client Service A-Team 2011 report, which rated more than 300 firms on client services. BTI characterizes this select group of firms as the “Client Service 30,” a list of the law firms that corporate counsel say deliver the best client service. The rankings are based on responses from nearly 300 corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies who were asked to rate firms in 17 categories.

Chairman Tom Minogue was quoted in an article about the survey in the December 6 edition of law360.com. In the article, Tom attributes the firm’s leap in the rankings in part to an emphasis on client service and responsiveness, project management training for attorneys and our proprietary project tracking software. “Efficient provision of legal services within budget to clients is a priority item in our place,” he said. “The mantra is to just overwhelm your clients from a client services perspective.” Providing valuable service is especially important in the current market conditions, he goes on to say.
