Terry Polino was recently reappointed as vice-chair of the Customs Law Committee of the ABA Section of International Law for the upcoming term, which runs from August, 10, 2011 to August 9, 2012. Members of the Customs Law Committee focus on the laws and regulations administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as they relate to the import and export of goods. They stay abreast of the rules and regulations established and enforced by the CBP as well as its voluntary programs, including C-TPAT, CSI and the Importer Self-Assessment Program. As a vice-chair, Terry helps lead the committee in discussions related to policy initiatives, programs and projects that are relevant to customs law.
