The Washington, D.C., edition of SmartCEO magazine has included three Thompson Coburn attorneys in its 2011 list of the region’s “Legal Elite.”
Corporate and securities partner Jeff Craven, litigation partner Harvey Levin and government contracts partner Tim Sullivan made the list of top attorneys and received high praise from one of their clients.
In the magazine, Tony Jimenez, president and CEO of Vienna, Virginia-based MicroTech, which offers large-scale technology support and services to the government, businesses and city, state and local agencies, spoke highly of each attorney.
He lauded Craven as a “versatile attorney who works tirelessly on behalf of his clients.”
Of Levin, Jimenez said, “Harvey is a tenacious and creative representative. His out-of-the-box thinking and approach has produced outstanding results.”
Jimenez described Sullivan as “a recognized leader in his field and extremely knowledgeable.”
SmartCEO magazine compiles its list of Legal Elite by asking its CEO readers to name their go-to attorney in all areas of law. SmartCEO publishes monthly magazines in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., that are read by more than 50,000 business owners.
Craven advises clients on Federal Communications Commission licensing and regulatory matters, as well as domestic and international mergers and acquisitions for clients in the telecom, satellite, technology and energy sectors. He also advises entrepreneurs on structuring and financing start-up enterprises.
Levin possesses 30 years of experience as a civil litigator and commercial lawyer and has represented banks and other lenders, large and small government contractors, publicly and privately held businesses, Alaska Native Corporations, the federal government and individual investors, business owners, employees and independent contractors.
Sullivan represents businesses nationwide and abroad, counseling them on all facets of government contract law, including bid protests, contract claims and litigation. He has extensive experience in matters involving bidding strategies, claims resolution, small business issues, defective pricing, suspension and debarment and the Procurement Integrity Act.
