Former U.S. Ambassador to Sweden (1994-1998) Thomas L. Siebert has joined Thompson Coburn's
Washington, DC office as Of Counsel in the Firm's
Corporate and Securities group. Ambassador Siebert's practice focuses on (1) international and domestic telecommunications and information technology business sectors and (2) international and domestic renewable energy and cleantech business sectors. He provides counseling on legislative and regulatory matters, government affairs, and federal marketing; transactional advice involving mergers and acquisitions; and has a deep understanding of the formation and financing of joint ventures and strategic alliances. He has a wide range of experience, including owning, operating and managing various telecommunications businesses, which is an asset to his clients. Ambassador Siebert earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Georgetown University.
