Caitlin represents borrowers, lenders, lessors, and lessees in commercial finance and equipment leasing transactions in the transportation industry, including maritime, transit, and aviation.
She also works with clients on general corporate matters, assisting with the drafting of closing documents such as disclosure schedules, escrow agreements, and certificates as well as corporate governance documents.
In the area of trade finance, Caitlin has recently assisted with secured financing transactions and restructurings for the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), supporting American exports to Gabon and Ukraine.
Caitlin counsels clients on regulatory matters before the U.S. Maritime Administration (MarAd), the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Caitlin worked as a judicial clerk to the Administrative Judges in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Dispute Resolution for Acquisition, the sole tribunal for resolving contract disputes and bid protests under the FAA's Acquisition Management System.
