Dudley became the Firm's General Counsel in 2018.  In that capacity, he advises the firm on a wide range of legal issues.  Before becoming General Counsel, he was a member of the Firm's litigation department.  Over the course of his 32-year career in that department, he handled cases in federal and state trial courts in 15 different states and argued cases before eight different state supreme courts or federal courts of appeal.
