Cherie Stephens Bock is a partner in the firm's Banking and Commercial Finance department. She frequently represents financial institutions and borrowers in various secured and unsecured lending transactions. Cherie has been involved in various types of commercial finance transactions, including agribusiness, maritime, acquisition, asset-based, and syndicated lending facilities. She also routinely represents financial institutions with respect to automotive, recreational vehicle, and marine dealer floorplan financing transactions.

As a former bank examiner, Cherie also advises financial institutions with respect to regulatory matters. She has specifically represented firm clients in bank mergers and acquisitions, branch purchase and assumptions, bank holding company formations, initial stock offerings and bank failures and dissolutions. Cherie also routinely counsels clients regarding various safety and soundness concerns, including representation of bank clients with respect to formal and informal enforcement actions by state and federal bank regulators.
