Cheryl has experience in representing lenders and borrowers in complex finance transactions, loan restructurings and workouts (whether in or out of bankruptcy), and in receivership and foreclosure proceedings. Her practice also includes the representation of creditors in bankruptcy, reorganization and similar proceedings and debtors in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings.
Cheryl is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Attorneys (and serves on its Board of Governors), a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, and a member of the Real Property Section of the American Bar Association (where she serves as Group Chair for the Real Estate Finance Group of Committees). Cheryl was named to the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® list of top 50 women attorneys in Missouri from 2009 - 2011 and was named a corporate counsel Super Lawyer® from 2009 - 2011. She was also included in the Super Lawyers® Business Edition in 2011. She has been named to the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® list every year since 2005. Cheryl has additionally been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® 2012 Edition (Real Estate Law).
