Clint practices in Thompson Coburn's Banking and Commercial Finance, Financial Restructuring and Real Estate Practice Groups. His commercial lending and secured transactions experience includes:

Asset-based and secured financing programs
Debt restructurings and workouts
Equipment leasing
Financing and credit transactions
Foreclosure and enforcement of creditors' rights
Letters of credit
Purchase money security arrangements
Trade credit documentation, including credit applications, security agreements, guarantees, notes, invoices and mortgages

His practice also includes:

Purchasing, selling, leasing, sales and finance of all types of property, including commercial and industrial real estate and representing and protecting creditors in business bankruptcy cases.

Successfully argued case before the Northern District of Illinois which resulted in the court changing the standard for calculating damages in the Northern District of Illinois to the “billing date method,” thereby increasing the recovery to Illinois landlords from rejected leases in bankruptcy.
Represented nationwide lessor of railroad equipment on all bankruptcy related matters including issues related to the assumption and rejection of leases and recovery of leased equipment.
Represented various financial institutions on Uniform Commercial Code issues and loan document drafting.
