Dean Franklin is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He has extensive first chair trial experience. He limits his practice to intellectual property and commercial litigation.
Mr. Franklin currently focuses on complex intellectual property matters pending in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Within the intellectual property area Mr. Franklin litigates patent infringement, copyright, trademark and misappropriation of trade secret cases. The products defended and intellectual property protected include automobile repair equipment, elevators, escalators, bridge decks, railway cars, maritime piers, medical devices, drug research, computer storage devices, cable television operations, farm equipment, and relevant computer software and hardware.
Mr. Franklin is past president of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (MODL). He is included in the The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 (Copyright 2011 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.) and the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® list.
