Douglas Baron is a partner in the Real Estate and Corporate practice groups. Previously, Douglas was a partner with Lowenhaupt & Chasnoff where he headed up that firm's real estate and corporate practice areas.

He represents real estate clients in the development, financing, construction, acquisition, zoning and leasing of continuum of care campuses (i.e., independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities), multifamily housing, manufacturing facilities, shopping centers, office buildings, public utility facilities, schools and conservation areas (including the creation of an approximately 145,000 acre sustainable timber management forest, two state parks, and part of a U.S. Wild and Scenic Riverway). 

Douglas also serves as outside general counsel to several corporations. He regularly counsels clients on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, formation of emerging growth companies, private offerings, corporate succession planning and general corporate matters. Douglas represents clients in industries such as real estate, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, medical equipment, petro-chemical, plastics and furniture.
