Eileen's practice is focused on financial services, specializing in asset-based finance, equipment leasing, government guaranteed finance and associated regulatory matters. She represents clients before various U.S. agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Maritime Administration (MarAd) and the U.S. Coast Guard.
She serves as outside counsel to the Export-Import Bank of the United States on corporate, asset-backed and small project financings, including multiple offshore drilling rigs used in Mexico, power plants in Turkey, grain storage and silo equipment in Ukraine, a renewable energy project in Brazil, and communications equipment for use in Trinidad and Tobago.
Eileen advises clients in the maritime, aviation and transportation sectors on a wide range of financing, commercial and regulatory matters, including loan and security documents, purchase and sale agreements, and a variety of leasing and chartering arrangements. She also routinely counsels clients on aviation matters, including aircraft acquisition, sale and finance, fractional ownership, jet card memberships, and aircraft leasing and management.
Prior to joining the firm, Eileen was an attorney with MarAd, focusing on the Title XI loan guarantee program. In addition, she served as counsel for International Registries, Inc. (IRI), at the time that IRI served as corporate and maritime administrator for the Republics of Liberia and the Marshall Islands.
