Dr. Davis is a Senior Patent Agent specializing in patent prosecution in biotechnology and life sciences, especially in the fields of plant genetics and plant biochemistry. Drawing on her Ph.D. in molecular biology and more than 10 years of experience in law firms, Dr. Davis counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property issues including patentability and prior art search, strategic portfolio development and due diligence. She advises clients regarding the filing and prosecution of PCT and foreign national patent applications. She has experience in the areas of molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, pharmacology, biomedical devices, nanotechnology and array technologies.
Dr. Davis started her career in 1997. She has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and biomedical devices. Dr. Davis has managed patent portfolios for a variety of clients including academic institutions, non-profit organizations and biotechnology companies.
