Jason Thein, a member of the firm's Private Client Services Practice Area, has extensive experience in all areas of estate planning. He has designed and implemented plans transferring significant wealth thereby achieving clients' goals while saving millions in taxes. He has prepared prenuptial agreements and counseled clients in the enforcement of prenuptial agreements. Additionally he has advised fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the estate and trust administration process, and represented clients in tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities.
Jason spends the majority of his time representing multiple generations of families that own closely held businesses. Such representation includes handling estate, gift and income tax matters, corporate law issues, real estate transactions, and the successful transfer of ownership, control and management of family businesses.
