With extensive experience in commercial transactions and health care corporate and regulatory affairs, Joan has particular experience in clinical health care, regulatory compliance and software licensing.  Her clients range from software vendors, institutional health care providers, physician practices, and global consulting companies to small and mid-sized businesses.  Her broad health care and corporate practice includes the development and protection of intellectual property assets, commercial and corporate transactions, regulatory compliance with emphasis in public and private reimbursement, data privacy and security, clinical operations, and insurance acquisition, including general liability, malpractice liability and self-insurance program management.  Her years of experience in-house at large and small companies, including health care institutions, have prepared her to serve as both a legal and business counselor to clients.
