Joy's practice includes representing and advising health plans, health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and other health care entities on a wide range of health care legal issues. She has extensive experience in health care contracting and negotiating and documenting joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of health care entities. Joy regularly advises clients on health care regulatory matters, including HIPAA, federal and state fraud and abuse, compliance programs and licensure, certification and accreditation. Her practice also involves working with various state insurance regulators with respect to transactional and regulatory matters for health plan clients, including the preparation and filing of Forms A, B, C and D and applications for certificates of authority.
