Katie concentrates her practice in the areas of Financial Restructuring and Commercial Litigation. Her practice includes representation of debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors and mortgagees. She has represented unsecured creditors in preference matters, including preference claim and defense analysis and settlement negotiations. She also has assisted in the representation of debtors in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. In the area of commercial litigation, she has assisted in various matters involving disputes between creditors, borrowers and guarantors. Katie also has experience writing appellate briefs and successful oppositions to petitions for certiorari.
