Laura Jordan practices human resources law, focusing on representation of employers in all aspects of employment law. Laura's practice includes representation of clients in state and federal courts and agencies throughout the United States on a wide variety of employment matters including: wage and hour litigation, discrimination and retaliation administrative charges and litigation, noncompetition and trade secret disputes, and business immigration. Laura also frequently counsels clients on management practices relating to discrimination prevention, family and medical leave, personnel policies, employment agreements, severance plans, affirmative action, and immigration law compliance. In addition, Laura provides in-house training on a variety of human resources best practices, including harassment and discrimination prevention, affirmative action policies and procedures, employee leave management, accommodations for disabled employees, and performance management.
