Lauren practices in the firm's labor and employment area. She devotes a large part of her practice to representing management under the Railway Labor Act and the National Labor Relations Act. She has assisted with the representation of numerous railroads in RLA arbitration review cases. She also participates in grievance arbitrations and collective bargaining on behalf of airlines across the country. In addition, she helps counsel employers during election campaigns and defends against unfair labor practice charges under the NLRA.
Lauren also counsels clients on a daily basis regarding discrimination prevention, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and numerous other federal and state statutes. She drafts severance agreements and employment agreements for employers, and assists clients with the enforcement of covenants not to compete. Lauren has also participated in the defense of numerous discrimination charges and lawsuits for clients throughout the United States.
