Linda Shapiro is vice-chair of the Thompson Coburn Government Contracts practice and chair of the Immigration Law group. For the past three years, she has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®. Linda also served four years on the Thompson Coburn management committee.

During her more than 20 years of government practice, Linda has advised clients on a wide range of matters unique to doing business with governmental entities, particularly the nation’s largest customer – the U.S. government. Linda routinely assists clients comply with various procurement and related laws and regulations, defend or challenge contract awards and small business status, address performance and compliance issues, litigate or otherwise resolve disputes, and negotiate teaming and subcontractor arrangements. Linda also represents recipients of grants and cooperative agreements on projects involving construction, manufacturing, engineering, and alternative energies and technologies, including those funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

In her immigration practice, Linda focuses on representing employers interested in hiring or transferring foreign executives, managers or specialists to live and work in the U.S. She provides immigration counsel to all industry sectors, including information technology, telecommunications, financial, manufacturing and business services.  Thompson Coburn's Immigration group is currently ranked #1 in Missouri by The Best Lawyers in America® (Copyright 2010 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.).
