Lisa Thorp practices in the firm’s public finance and public law practice area. She is experienced in various types of tax-exempt and taxable financing, including student loan revenue bonds, asset-backed securitizations, tax increment financing, transportation development district financing and private activity bonds.
Lisa co-authored an article on the current developments in the field of legal ethics in the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, spring 1996. 9 Geo. J. Legal Ethics 1009 (1996) and published a chapter in Women, Land and Authority in 1997 regarding rural property ownership customs in apartheid South Africa.
