Michelle's practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent litigation and counseling. Drawing on her background in mechanical engineering and business administration, she represents clients in a variety of disciplines, including electrical and computer systems and wireless technologies. Michelle has litigated cases in federal district courts across the country and represented clients before the International Trade Commission. She previously served as the primary legal advisor to the world's largest online health resource specifically targeted to African Americans.
In addition, Michelle has served as a mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, a nonprofit that provides free mediation services to organizations, schools, and individuals across Chicagoland. Michelle has applied this extensive mediation experience to her practice and helped her clients secure favorable settlements in a variety of business and intellectual property disputes.
