Michelle's practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent and copyright infringement litigation. Drawing on her background in mechanical engineering and business administration, Michelle represents clients in a variety of disciplines, including electrical and computer systems and wireless technologies. She also helps these clients protect their intellectual property in the online world. Michelle has litigated cases in federal district courts across the country and represented clients before the International Trade Commission.

Michelle also has experience in commercial transactions.  Her in-house experience with the world's largest online health resource specifically targeted to African Americans has prepared her to effectively counsel clients on transactions in the health care arena.

In addition, Michelle has served as a mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, a nonprofit that provides free mediation services to organizations, schools, and individuals across Chicagoland. Michelle has applied this extensive mediation experience to her practice and helped her clients secure favorable settlements in a variety of business and intellectual property disputes.
