Mike is a partner in the Business Litigation practice area. He is affiliated with the Bankruptcy and Appellate practice areas and practices in the state and federal courts in a wide range of business litigation matters. He chairs the Firm's Trust and Estate Litigation group, and handles probate and fiduciary litigation for both institutions and individuals. His litigation experience includes real estate matters such as commercial lease disputes. He has particular experience in banking litigation, concentrating on the areas of creditors' rights, lender liability and disputes involving check collection, check fraud, and electronic transfers and payment.
In addition, he was the only litigator chosen to serve on the Missouri Bar's legislative subcommittee of the Probate & Trust Committee, which helped get the Uniform Trust Code enacted in Missouri.
