Morton is Of Counsel in the firm’s Financial Restructuring, Real Estate and Transportation areas. As former general counsel for UniGroup, Inc., Morton has extensive experience in surface transportation, general freight, household goods, tariffs, federal lease regulations, cargo claims and transportation related injuries. Morton also served as president of UniGroup's Vanliner Insurance Company. Prior to his 20-year career with UniGroup, Morton was a partner with Susman Schermer Rimmel & Parker where he ran a labor and real estate practice and served on the St. Louis County legal staff as Deputy County Counselor.
