Paul Brown concentrates his practice in the trial of lawsuits in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. He has tried in excess of fifty jury cases and thirty bench-tried cases in his career and has experience handling cases in the areas of real estate, property taxation, breach of contract, fraud, product liability, maritime, FELA, grade crossing, labor violence, civil rights, aviation, toxic tort, environmental, and regulatory. His litigation experience includes the defense of 500 toxic exposure mass tort claims arising out of the transportation of hazardous materials by rail and the prosecution of a $30 million environmental clean-up and toxic tort liability cost recovery action.  He has argued appeals in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court, all three districts of the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the 5th District Illinois Appellate Court.
