Paul is a member of the firm's tort and environmental department. He has participated in all aspects of product liability, railroad, and tobacco litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, pre-trial briefing, trial preparation and support, and post-trial and appellate briefing. Paul has worked extensively on several complex, large scale cases. He worked on a team that prosecuted a $30 million environmental clean up and toxic tort liability cost recovery case, served on the trial team in a $48 million breach of contract case involving the construction of a bioenergy plant, and served on the trial team in City of St. Louis v. American Tobacco Co., a multi-million dollar action brought by healthcare providers against the tobacco industry.
