Rob practices in Thompson Coburn's Corporate and Securities practice.  He represents domestic and international businesses of all sizes in all types of commercial and business representation, including: domestic and international acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and consolidations of business entities; structuring and maintaining business entities, including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and joint ventures; and negotiating and drafting all types of commercial agreements and documentation.

His practice also includes:

Corporate and Finance—Complex commercial transactions, including joint development, litigation, dispute resolution, and distribution; counseling, negotiating and drafting a wide variety of domestic and international commercial agreements, including supply, procurement, outsourcing, distributor, and manufacturing agreements; contract, partnership, and shareholder disputes; and business management and succession planning.

Commercial Finance and Secured Transactions—Secured transactions and consignment arrangements; trade credit documentation, including credit applications, security agreements, notes, and guarantees; equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act; and commercial transactions under the UCC and the laws of international commerce.

Labor and Employment—Counseling on all aspects of employment and operations matters; negotiating and documenting employment, consulting, independent contractor, separation and release, non-disclosure, non-solicitation and non-competition, work made for hire, and invention agreements; and preparing employment policies such as technology use policies, document retention and destruction policies, and employment manuals.

Information Technology and Intellectual Property—Information systems and technology law, Internet law, and computer-related matters such as software licensing, networking, service-level agreements, development, hosting and electronic commerce agreements; and United States and international intellectual property services, including trademark and copyright prosecution, protection and maintenance matters, trade secret protection and licensing, and joint venture matters with regard to all types of intellectual property.
