Susan practices in Thompson Coburn's Human Resources practice area, focusing on representation of employers in employment law, employment litigation and employment counseling. Susan's practice includes representation of clients in state and federal courts and agencies on a wide variety of matters including: discrimination, retaliation, enforcement of covenants not to compete, FMLA and wage and hour issues. She has successfully prepared and argued substantive motions in state and federal court, in addition to mediations, arbitrations and appeals. She has also won dismissal of various employee discrimination charges before the EEOC and state agencies. In addition, Susan counsels clients on management practices relating to discrimination prevention, family and medical leave, personnel policies and employment agreements.
