Tom is the Chairman of the firm's Private Client Services Group. His practice focuses on the areas of estate planning and administration, federal estate and gift tax compliance and controversy, organizational, tax and succession planning for privately held businesses, and estate and trust law and litigation. Within those areas of practice Tom counsels clients on the preservation and transfer of wealth in a tax-efficient manner and counsels business owners in the transition of ownership, management and control of private businesses. In addition, he represents individuals and estates in tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in litigation related to estate and trust administration. Tom has authored numerous articles and has spoken on estate and business planning topics.
