Todd serves as a Vice-Chair of the Business Litigation Practice Group and heads the Group's Chicago office practice. He handles complex litigation matters, jury and bench trials and appeals in state and federal courts. His cases include complex commercial litigation disputes involving financial services, real estate, commercial loan enforcement cases including UCC sales, replevin actions and commercial foreclosure cases, business torts including deceptive business practice and fraud claims, Uniform Commercial Code, restrictive covenants, trade secrets actions, injunctions, class action defense, title insurance litigation and complex injury cases.
He represents some of the largest financial services corporations, manufacturers and service companies in the country. Todd also represents educational service companies, real estate developers and small businesses with business disputes and strategic business dispute resolution including through early mediation and arbitration.
He has been listed in the 2011 and 2010 editions of Chambers USA for Litigation: General Commercial - Illinois. Todd was also named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company's prestigious "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch," 2003 edition. Todd was a member of the Rotary Club of Palatine where he served as President for the 2007-08 term. He was a baseball coach with the Palatine Youth Baseball teams for 13 years, since 1999. Todd is a Judge Coordinator for the Palatine Police Department’s Peer Jury Program, a community program designed to give youth offenders a "second chance." The Palatine Peer Jury Program was featured on Fox News-Chicago in March, 2009.
