Jolene is a paralegal in the Firm's Business Litigation practice area.
She assists with all aspects of a litigation case and efficiently drafts complaints and written discovery, prepares and maintains document productions, assists with deposition preparation, performs legal research, and manages trial preparation tasks. Jolene masters the key facts and legal issues of each case in order to proactively suggest ideas, procedures and approaches for various aspects of case management, including utilizing the firm's available technology to organize and maintain case information for quick retrieval and efficient work for clients.
She manages litigation in a number of jurisdictions around the country. Jolene understands the issues, reviews and organizes the client documents, and works on drafts of pleadings for arbitrations, replevins and temporary restraining orders, as part of a coordinated effort to provide efficient, cost effective and timely client service. She also manages large class action cases, including maintenance of complex databases and case files.
Jolene is detail-oriented and possesses excellent research, investigative and reporting skills. She is committed to the firm's goals of exceptional client service and is dedicated and enthusiastic in her representation of the firm's clients. In 2009, Jolene was named the Paralegal of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Legal Assistants in recognition for excellence and her outstanding dedication to the legal profession. In addition to providing exceptional legal services, she is also committed to sharing her knowledge with her peers and has spoken at a number of in-house continuing legal education seminars, as well as a live seminar "Document Management in the Trenches: How Paralegals Get (and Stay) Organized" sponsored by the Institute for Paralegal Education.
