Leigh is a paralegal in the Real Estate and Land Use practice area. Leigh handles all aspects of residential and commercial land use matters in the City of Chicago and surrounding municipalities. She assists attorneys with zoning matters including; property rezoning, variations, special uses, administrative adjustments, planned developments, annexations, economic redevelopment, historic preservation, senior citizen housing, hotels and single family to multiple family residential projects.
Leigh assists with State of Illinois and City of Chicago licensing matters, including; obtaining business, public place of amusement, liquor, late hour liquor, tavern, packaged goods, restaurant and outdoor patio licenses. In the Real Estate Tax Department, Leigh assists in the management and appeal of properties in Cook County, Illinois and the surrounding areas. Her responsibilities include assisting attorneys with obtaining and analyzing assessment data, the research and compilation of evidence needed to form a basis of tax relief, and prepares forms and supporting documentation.
In the Corporate and Securities Practice Area, Leigh assists with corporate governance aspects for entities which include drafting and filing of annual reports.
