Thompson Coburn LLP
Monica represents clients in both general real estate and public finance transactions.
As a member of Thompson Coburn's national New Markets Tax Credit practice, Monica represents lenders, developers and nonprofits in all types of federal and state NMTC transactions. She guides clients through the NMTC process and helps structure sophisticated financing deals involving low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, other incentive-based financings. One of her recent transactions helped convert a historic schoolhouse into a multi-tenant commercial space.
In her public finance practice, Monica serves as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, and disclosure counsel in general obligation bond issuances and lease financings for school districts and other public entities in Missouri and Kansas.
Monica also has experience in purchase and sale transactions, including commercial real estate deals involving restaurant franchises.
