Maribeth has over 22 years of experience working in the intellectual property, biotech, and corporate fields. Her primary focus currently is on foreign and biotech intellectual property work. Maribeth has superior skills in foreign patent prosecution, PCT and U.S. patent prosecution, electronic filing of patent applications, foreign patent application filings, PCT applications, national and regional phase applications, as well as U.S. applications.
She also oversees execution and processing of formal legal documents, i.e. power of attorney documents, declarations, oaths and assignment documents. Maribeth drafts and files PCT Requests, Chapter II Demands, amendments, invitation responses, as well as responses to foreign office actions. In addition, Maribeth drafted and filed Continuation, CIP, Divisional, Design, Provisional and Utility patent applications. She also manages, drafts, and electronically files information disclosure statements and performs research to obtain foreign references and non patent literature documents.
Maribeth corresponds and interacts with PCT representatives and examiners, foreign associates, U.S. patent representatives, examiners, and clients. Further, Maribeth drafts correspondence of all types and complexity for attorneys’ review.
