Marilyn assists the real estate tax attorneys with all aspects of the tax appeal process. She obtains and analyzes assessment data and prepares forms and supporting documentation.
Marilyn drafts briefs that are filed with the Cook County Assessor’s Office and Cook County Board of Review. She drafts and files orders, interrogatories and pleadings with the Circuit Court of Cook County. Marilyn works with clients to obtain information and documentation required by these taxing bodies. She works closely with various appraisers in obtaining reports when required. Marilyn maintains the department’s database and calendars filing deadlines.
