Paul represents clients in complex commercial disputes across a variety of industries.
He prepares pleadings, takes depositions of plaintiff and fact witnesses, handles pre-trial briefing, and takes a lead role in trial preparation and support. Paul has second-chaired trials and argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Paul has a passion for education and has extensive experience helping higher education clients manage disputes with students, the government, and accreditors. He has experience with Title IX and sexual misconduct grievance procedures.
In addition to his work in higher education, Paul has significant experience in class action, products liability, and commercial litigation. He represents product manufacturers and other clients in complex, high stakes cases. He also represent railroads in a variety of contexts, from regulatory disputes to FELA litigation.
Personable, team-oriented, and skilled at managing a diverse caseload, Paul learned first-hand the needs of in-house counsel during two months-long secondments with a railroad and a global energy company.
