Steve has successfully litigated a wide variety of matters for more than 25 years, the last 10 of which have focused on intellectual property.
Steve has tried franchise, patent, trademark, business and product liability cases. In a recent dispute he represented a restaurant franchisor, and by blending his litigation and intellectual property experience removed the case to federal court. His aggressive approach to litigation positions matters for the best possible result. Steve has served for more than 20 years as the outside general counsel for a major St. Louis company, which has provided him with an appreciation of clients' concerns that goes beyond a typical trial attorney.
