Real Estate Tax Credits

  • OVERVIEW
  • PROFESSIONALS
Taking advantage of the available government development incentives and programs can help make projects possible that might not otherwise be economically feasible. Thompson Coburn is actively involved in helping clients with the federal New Markets Tax Credit Program, as well as with state and federal historic tax credit applications. We also guide lenders and investors in affordable housing projects which utilize the benefits of low-income housing tax credits. We counsel clients on New Markets Tax Credit and federal tax credit structuring issues. We have provided advice to developers, as well as investors, on projects seeking these credits, with particular experience in the Missouri state historic tax credit.
