Depending on your definition of "working from home," the number of Americans who fall into this category can reach as high as 30%. The presenters of this webinar will discuss a wide range of issues on telecommuting to include preserving the right to end or modify remote work; rights and limits on monitoring employees and their equipment/data use; enforcing employer policies outside the employer’s physical workplace; assuring wage and hour compliance; Americans With Disabilities and Family and Medical Leave Act concerns; guarding against other forms of discrimination; and home workplace safety compliance.
