Last November, Amendment 2 passed in Missouri. Since that time, cannabis business hopefuls have been gathering information, capital and resources in anticipation of being awarded highly coveted cannabis licenses within the state. On June 4, applications for cannabis licenses will be made available by the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services. So what final considerations must be made before applying?
Thompson Coburn, together with Anders CPAs + Advisors and Powers Insurance & Risk Management, will host a breakfast seminar to take a deep dive on the topics that potential medical cannabis growers, cultivators, dispensers, investors and manufacturers of cannabis-infused products need to know in the areas of legal, tax and audit and insurance ahead of August 3, when DHSS begins accepting facility license applications.
