Lexology, an international legal intelligence service, has selected Chicago business litigation partner David Rownd as its exclusive 2018 Client Choice award winner for litigation in Illinois.
The Client Choice awards recognize law firms and partners around the world – nominated by corporate counsel – who stand apart for their excellent client service and ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond others in the market. As part of the research process to identify award candidates, in-house attorneys are asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology. Lexology collected the following comments from David’s clients:
David represents clients in complex, high-stakes litigation involving many moving parts. He is a trusted advisor to in-house lawyers, executives, owners of privately held companies and individual entrepreneurs, advising them on how the particular matter at hand can impact bigger-picture business issues and guiding them through the dispute resolution process in a way that allows them to focus on their business.
